Iris moved quickly through the garden. The sky was dark with the coming storm, and it was about 11 o'clock at night, so it was already dark and she barely made it under a gazebo before the rain started falling. What a great night, she sighed, moving a hand through her damp hair and looked at her clothes. She was dressed in black right now, making her blend in with the background, but not against the white gazebo. Her black skirt was damp, as was her spaghetti strap tank, so she said down, running a hand through her hair again. Things had gone a little downhill at home, and she was just a little more stressed than usual.
And usually, she would lean on Roxy for help. But, not really. Tonight Roxy was somewhere, Iris didn't know where. But she knew Roxy needed some time partying or by herself or something, and she needed to be by herself to. yes, she felt great when around her twin but right now, it was just the alone that made her feel...complete again. She looked around, the thunder crashed above and she crossed her arms. The cold didn't bother her as she looked out at the dark garden, her skin must have been a beacon against all the dark, for it was pale and her hair was blond. She leaned back, closing her eyes and letting the sound of the rain drift over her mind, replaying the horrible events.
This time her father had nearly disallowed them to ever leave the house until they were with there betrothed....she didn't even know who her betrothed might be, and the stand off between Roxy and their father.....it had just gotten plain bad. She missed Jonathon too, who wasn't invited to the house..ever. So she sat in the gazebo, lulling stuff in her mind and trying to figure out how to bring her old, more confident, slytherin self back. Which wasn't going to well either. Freaking vulnerable feelings.
Iris sighed again. "why do I feel more at home right here then I would with my actual family?" She asked the empty air, getting no response. She did this a lot and she frowned. She was a slytherin, pure blood. She couldn't let stuff like this get the best of her, but it was and she sighed. "Some pure blood I am...Roxy is gonna kill me..." She muttered, glaring into the ground.
