Arrabella Fayne Selwyn-Avery II
Marry me, Juliet. you'll never have to be alone.
I love you and that's all I really know. It was around noon when Arrabella arrived in Paris with her future sister in law, Annabella Bletchely. The excitement of her upcoming wedding storming over all other emotions, she had come here for tea and dress shopping. Not to mention she found it was a great opportunity to build a bond with her new sister and Arrabella was quite certain Anna was to share some words of wisdom, or rather warnings against her brothers false faithfulness.
Here they sat, in a quiet cafe on the corner of 4th and 3rd sipping hot tea and gossiping. Arrabella flipping through wedding books trying to find the perfect designer to make her dress. It was Paris, France after all. All of the most high end designers worked here, and being an Avery allowed Bella the excitement of affording only the best.
"How about this one?" Arrabella leaned across the table showing a shyly off-white dress decorated in delicate bead work, shimmering jewels and classic button up back.
She had much liked the idea of a victorian era wedding, finding it classy and much more tasteful then anything modern. However, she hadn't yet cleared the idea with her helping hand, Miss. Bletchley. It had been Mikayles honor to his adored sister to allow her to share the experience of the planning of his wedding. Arrabella hadn't much say in it, however she found it the perfect stress reliever once this day showed it's bright face.
"Or themes? Shall we theme it?" Her smile spread wide, "Shall I find a dress to match a theme? Oh, and a date! I don't believe I've set one yet!" She said enthusiastically, trying her hardest not to bear the question she deeply wanted to ask: what was behind her future husbands motives?
He had many girls while with Arrabella and though she was aware of them she ignored them as much as possible. It came as much of a shock to her as it did with the rest of the purebloods in acquaintance with the couple when he pushed to move the wedding forward. She couldn't stop herself from committing without much thought.
So here she sat, straight across from a woman she would be linked to for the rest of her life. She couldn't have been more thankful that her betrothal was to a man who would bring her and her family such great power. A man who she had fallen for. A man who had whispered the word love to her, with a tone of passion and truth.
It wasn't like her to trust anyone, and she knew she shouldn't trust Mik to the exaggeration in which she did. But she couldn't help it. He was damaged and dangerous. Sexy and passionate. Something she hadn't had a taste of before, or at least with the meaning he gave to her.
She sipped her fresh cup of tea, burning her tongue while amusing the truth behind her new husband.

annabella bletchley was on a mission.
she stirred her tea with more force than she usually would have used, and tapped her fingernails on the table louder than she might have if she wasn't, almost literally, angry to the point where her ears were steaming. the blonde had never been one to set off for france simply to look at dresses for a bride-to-be, but today was different. not only did she have to convince arrabella she was about to make the biggest mistake of her life, but anna had to make sure she followed through with breaking the deal off. being the younger sister of mikayle bletchley, anna knew exactly how he operated. he knew how to have more than one partner while keeping his main woman in the dark about it. he played the system better than anyone his little sister knew and therefore, it was her job to protect his fiance from the personal hell he was bound to create for her. secondly though, anna wanted to break them off for personal reasons. even before the death of her brother closest to her in age, miss bletchley had been protective of her elder blood and who they decided to date. quite honestly, though annabella respected arie and saw quite a few wonderful qualities in her, no one would change her mind. the only way she would be happy was if her last remaining brother spent his life alone, hopping from naive witch to ignorant woman. she didn't care how many woman he hurt along the way as long as they weren't linked to her and he didn't plan on keeping them around.
"the dress sounds lovely." annabella forced herself to comment though she hadn't heard a word about the dress bella had described. her mind was spinning and her ideas were forming under her thick, blonde hair. all she had to do was get through to arrabella and her work was done. mikayle wouldn't need an explanation; hell, he might even be happy about the end of the engagement.
"a theme would be necessary," anna began, sipping her tea and sitting straight in her chair before continuing. "however, i think you should go with something along the lines of 'all's fair in love and war'. there's a lot you don't know about my brother, darling. but i'd love to inform you. besides, i'd hate to have you playing the fool at your own wedding."

Marry me, Juliet. you'll never have to be alone.
I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress Arrabella's excitement began to fade when she looked up from the magazine pinned to her hand and witnessed the look on her new friends face. It clearly had fallen, though Arrabella knew she was trying to hold it steady. Ignoring the look, Arie watched as Anna's mouth began to move with out passion or meaning.
"the dress sounds lovely."
Arrabella knew at once that she hadn't been listening, when she realized she had shown her a picture of the dress and not described it. Ignoring the response, Bella looked back to the strange face displayed on Annas blond head. It was serious, yet carefully mastered. Pretending that she didn't see the look hidden in Anna's expression, Arrabella continued on with the excitement.
"Or themes? Shall we theme it?"

" a theme would be necessary," anna had began, teasing her with a sip of tea. " however, i think you should go with something along the lines of 'all's fair in love and war'.there's a lot you don't know about my brother, darling. but i'd love to inform you. besides, i'd hate to have you playing the fool at your own wedding." She had taken this question as a route of spilling the necessary information. The same information Miss. Avery had been craving since the night of Mik's sudden proposal of moving the wedding date up. She needed to know more of her lover before settling with the 'I dos'. Unhesitatingly She responded to the venom of Annas last sentence. " Please, Anna, dear, do tell me more." And with that Arrabella took a sip of tea, and a phase of contentment passed through her. She was ready to listen to the words Anna was about to spill.[/blockquote]

so far, things were working out just as planned. anna had offered her open hands to arie, filled with information the bride-to-be was dying to know. obviously there had been doubts in her mind about mikayle's faithfulness, and annabella mentioning it was only fueling the fire of insecurity. she sipped her tea with a smug smile pulling at her features, her green eyes blazing with inside information she was dying to spill. as her eyes fell upon arrabella's, there was no doubt in anna's mind that the brunette would make a good wife. she looked the part, certainly, and her last name was more than respectable. however, the blonde had no idea how arie would handle the single sex partner thing, and though she was very much aware of what a bastard her brother was, she wouldn't allow him to be made a fool of. in her eyes, arie and mikayle were far too similar to ever marry. they were too dangerous together; too dangerous for the other.
annabella didn't tolerate danger when it came to her elder brother; her best friend. in a way, she was protecting both of them. arrabella deserved to know what was coming, even if it was the promise of there being another girl. "i really think you deserve to know, arie. my brother has never, and will never, be a man of only one woman. he'll always have at least two, probably more. whatever he's told you so far is a lie, i assure you. he's the greatest actor i know, though he has no choice but to be for his line of work. everything about him is designed to break hearts; he's attractive and he has a way of making you feel as though you're the only one he makes eyes at. you're not, and you'd be smart to get out now. you'd be smart to get out before he destroys you and replaces you. it's what he does." as she finished, her voice a little above a whisper, annabella put on a half-genuine look of sincerity, her expression soft and inviting. something she needed for her line of work.

"i really think you deserve to know, arie. my brother has never, and will never, be a man of only one woman. he'll always have at least two, probably more. whatever he's told you so far is a lie, i assure you. he's the greatest actor i know, though he has no choice but to be for his line of work. everything about him is designed to break hearts; he's attractive and he has a way of making you feel as though you're the only one he makes eyes at. you're not, and you'd be smart to get out now. you'd be smart to get out before he destroys you and replaces you. it's what he does."
Her words lasted longer then necessary, as her warnings were truths Arrabella was aware of. But the fact that Mik would so much as ask for her hand in marriage, claim to always be faithful, and then step down from his obligations in such a manner? It was priceless, unworthy and common. But the fierece arrival of truth began to run steadily into Arrabellas mind.
The times he would embarrass her in front of others, giving woman beneath her 'the eye'. Calm her by kissing her neck, only to rebuttal with the same attitude that burned her in the first place. No, an act like this was definitely something only Mik could scrape out. But surely he didn't think her such a fool as to go down without a fight? Some form a redemption?
She was an Avery after all; pureblood at it's highest ranks, a member of Slytherin, and a follower of Voldemort the great. She could not stand to think that her fiance would take her as such a simple, naive school girl. She was a woman and she was ready to stand up for herself in her own honor; as she had done so many times in Annabellas brothers.
Flushing the bitterness from her mouth, Arrabella scooped two spoonfuls of sugar into her previously sweetened tea and took a sip. Her eyes felt heavy, as if she were conveying her feelings on her face. All excitement was put to rest, as now she was in a new kind of predicament. Surely she couldn't trust a stranger like her dear, Annabella. She had not spent much private time with the girl, as this was her first. She had seen her from afar; gossiped with her in crowded rooms. But to believe something along the lines of this kind of accusation from her own betrothed's sister? It was stepping a little far, she thought. But Arrabella did know Mik, and as much as it delighted her to doubt Annas words; Arie found comfort in the fact that they weren't just delusions sought up by herself -- that someone else knew about his whoring ways, too.
" Anna, dear. I know you worry about your brother and feel some kind of need to protect him. But he's a big boy now, and I see no reason to have his little sister wipe his ass for the remainder of time he's to spend with me." Bella had begun, picking up her tea and hiding her smug smile behind the dainty cup. "But if you do know something that I do not, as I assume you do. Then please go on with this story, as I would indeed prefer my assumptions be confirmed."
Arrabella smiled kindly, knowing that Anna would be a grand accomplice to keep in her grasps. They would grow close; as the feeling boiled in her blood.
