calling all those deltas and alphas. the seven deadly sins had many purposes. for one, it provided a venue for guys to pick up chicks when they require a higher challenge than those skanks at the pole. it was a place for girls to start all the drama their little heart's desire. but currently, hollie montague and annabella bletchley were using it as scouting grounds. not that they had tired of each others' company, but they were looking for something new. pureblood girls with the right 'moral values' were in short supply as of late, but hollie and anna were determined to find some with potential and turn them into the perfect pureblood women that society so honored back before the fall of their dark lord.
girls with pure blood frequented the sins nightly, so it was only a matter of choosing the most prestigious of last names and bring out the qualities that ran in their veins, thus far masked by years of fraternization with mudbloods and blood traitors. it was time for all that to end; hollie and annabella were going to make sure of it. but for now, it wouldn't be so horrible to simply toss back a few appletinis and find someone with a bearable face to bring back to the sorority house. moral values indeed.
presently, hollie leaned against the balcony of the v.i.p room and sipped a green colored drink in one of those glasses her mother gave out at their annual masquerade. a disco ball glimmered not far off above the heads of students packed onto the lower dance floor. it looked like some had broken open glow sticks and splattered the glowing liquid all over their clothes. some girls were clearly drunk, and some guys were clearly attempting to act drunk and lure their tipsy finds to their trashy car. a chill corner in the distance was the scene of a community joint, and part of hollie was drawn in that direction, though she resisted it. where on earth was annabella?
they had reserved the v.i.p. room for all delta zeta girls and alpha gamma sigma boys, but the place was filling up slow. she knew that eventually all would find their way over, for there was nothing else going on that night. whenever the stars aligned correctly and the alphas had forgotten to schedule a kegger on a friday night, most resorted to dropping some e and hitting the seven deadly sins. hollie was one of them, though tonight she decided that getting properly smashed and finding an escort was exactly what the night called for.

Arrabella-Fayne Alice Selwyn-Avery II [/blockquote] Drink it all away, numb it down to none, [/blockquote] Stay awake tonight and wait for the sun. [/blockquote] Arrabella had been planning on going to one of the frat houses usual keggers, when she found none of them had decided to turn up that night. She didn't stop the night at the mild disappointment, but found her self dressing to attend her one of her few favorite night clubs; the seven deadly sins. Skirt short and heels high, she was ready to go. She stuffed a green sweat outfit into one of her over-sized purses, aware that her nights didn't always turn into how she fantasized them to be.
As she neared the club, she stuck her hand in her purse, feeling for her full flask. The metal container hit her in the right hand, reassuring her assessment. The man at the door wouldn't dare ask a fox like her to hand over her bag for checking. She applied some pearly pink lip gloss, as she was short on her usual satin lip stain. She smiled at the man at the door, and was at last in.
It wasn't completely filled up, though she was sure no one would take in the account of her drinking her smuggled whiskey. The fiery burn at the back of her throat had satisfied her strong craving for a good time. She ended the long swig, and breathed out a sigh of relief. It felt like a good night to scout out the selection of college boys.
She shuck her barely covered ass across the dance floor, waving her hands in the air. She had misplaced her purse, latching on to the silver flask in which she favored and was now nearing drunk. She was feeling too hot for anyone to handle and too cool for any of the disappointing guys who had decided to show their faces. She was Arrabella-Fayne Alice Selwyn-Avery the second! Wealthy and from a respectable pureblood dynasty.
Her narcissism formed around the emptiness of the silver container she clutched in her right hand and she began to examine the room.

at last, hollie was pleased with her surroundings. many had indeed found their way to the club, though not annabella. no matter, hollie was perfectly capable of doing this herself. in fact, as she sipped her third appletini, a new arrival caught her eye. admittedly, she was one of the more inebriated girls, but she was from hollie's sorority. in fact, hollie felt like she had known the girl for longer, but that was impossible, as she had not attended hogwarts. well, perhaps not completely impossible; high pureblood society mingled with high pureblood society, regardless of one's nation of origin. over the course of her stint at beauxbatons, a trip to london to attend mrs. malfoy's annual masquerade ball was all anyone could think of all spring. it was at this moment that hollie recognized the girl with the hooker heels as a one miss avery, arrabella to be precise. or, maybe it was arrabella selwyn... she never could keep it straight. anyways, she knew that the girl was the beloved sister of a man hollie's parents had been considering for her betrothal, though nothing was final as of yet. ah, yes. it was avery. and palmer avery was her potential suitor.
hollie shuddered at the thought.
not that his name was all too shabby; it was this fact that set hollie on course. she descended the stairs and casually made her way over to the girl. honestly, sometimes hollie wished she could skip the formalities of these things. even time at a sinful nightclub had strict guidelines one was expected to follow. especially one with the last name montague. miss montague threw back her drink and drained the emerald concoction, which was indeed becoming her most recent favorite. in no time at all she was dancing in front of arrabella. they may be in the same sorority, but they had never been properly introduced. odd, since hollie was the co-president of delta zeta.
"ah, arrabella," hollie began, her voice like silk, floating toward arie over the din of the nightclub. something about her place in society seemed to give hollie an enchanted tone. she did not doubt that arie shared the dialect. "you belong up stairs, with the rest of us. please, come have a drink."

Arrabella-Fayne Alice Selwyn-Avery II [/blockquote] Drink it all away, numb it down to none, [/blockquote] Stay awake tonight and wait for the sun. [/blockquote] It seemed to Arrabella a distinctively fast paced night. One moment she could have sworn that she was flirting with a boy and his blurred - but handsome - face, and the next she found herself chatting with the co-pres of her Delta Zeta sorority house. Her mind was in a far off place, but she found herself able to put together the phrase "upstairs...come have a drink".
Good society girls never became quite as belligerent as Arrabella was appearing to have been. Not that dear Bella wasn't a good society girl, she was just able to regulate her outstretched reach of alcohol levels when the trust funds and their heirs came around, in return of a smile and pearls.
Arie soon found herself tripping over the stairs leading up to the V.I.P. room. She hadn't remembered agreeing to come up with the stranger whose home she shared, but figured she would be shooting back more shots of something, as her flask had become quite dry. Hollie Montague. She had heard small rumors of a chance of relation. The recent rise in purebloodism had become almost an epidemic. Not one that Arrabella much minded, but one she would rather keep her nose out of. Weather or not Hollie became betrothed to her baby brother, Palmer, she was a good contact to enlist.
The room upstairs seemed to share a mix of cigarette smoke, and something else that hit on the description of exotic. It was almost as if someone was lighting a joint in one of the corners or something. Arrabella could feel the glitter of her superiority rise as she distanced herself from the thought, and looked at the dainty woman who she had followed into the room.
"Hollie! I'm so glad to have finally gotten the chance to meet you!" If she had been sober, she knew her enthusiasms would have been quite minimal and translucent, but she wasn't sober and the loud music had done nothing more but urged her to dance. "Come dance with me, darling, let's talk!"
The irony in her last statement was thick, but irrelevant. She had lead poor Hollie to the bar in her plastered state of mind.

truly, there was something nearly intoxicating about the girl hollie had extracted from the throng of dancers whom she had always viewed as though they put on a show for her. like at one of her mother's ballets; some little scene acted out for her amusement. the girl was absolutely perfect for her little collection. no, that wasn't quite it. she was almost someone hollie could see eye to eye with. someone on the same playing field. one minute, hollie had thought herself in charge. but she must have underestimated the 'girly' drinks she had inhaled earlier. so much in such a short time couldn't have been good on her kidneys, or her state of mind. yet, once again, she was in front of the bar. the bartender's name was rick; that as never something one should know. once you get on a first name basis with the bartender, you may as well call yourself asteria malfoy and fill a flask of vodka for your purse.
yet, when he asked, "what'll it be, misses montague?" she wasted no time in ordering a straight shot of whiskey.
"alright, so you think you're man enough, arie?" hollie challenged, turning the shot glass on the counter with two fingers, pursing her lips in distaste, yet resignation. "i'll bet you two hundred galleons that i can beat your proper english ass in a competition of holding liquor."
hollie sized up her opponent and noticed that she was as far gone, if not further, than herself. and france had certainly done it's part in conditioning her for things such as this. "what say you, avery?" of course, a mere two hundred galleons may be child's play to those with a trust fund like either of the girls before the bar. but who wasn't hungry for just that much more? not to mention the glory that accompanied it.

Arrabella-Fayne Alice Selwyn-Avery II [/blockquote] Drink it all away, numb it down to none, [/blockquote] Stay awake tonight and wait for the sun. [/blockquote] Arrabella had now drug Hollie to the front of the bar. She hadn't visited the area that night because of her whiskey filled flask. She had probably had close to a pint herself and was beginning to feel quite slashed when the tiny lady in front of her dared her to a drinking dual.
Never one to turn a fellow risk taker down in means of finding the option so rarely displayed, Arie agreed to the bet. Copying her opponents move of a single shot of whiskey, Arrabella ordered a double. She had put a way the large extent of her container already, what more would two shots do?
Bella put the lengthy curved vile to her lips and turned her head straight back, taking it down in one swig. She smiled a crooked smile dare fully at Hollie, acknowledging the fact that the bet had officially begun.
The alcohol was running thick in her veins, and she could swear that it was only her mascara blurring her vision. But she couldn't find a scapegoat for the slur of her words. She was standing straight up, which dwarfed dear Hollie by quite the large amount. Arie let out a small laugh,
"If it's not the life of the party but the party of the life, then it's on."
Though to Bella, her words had made complete sense...she couldn't help but to have gotten the vibe that she had left her partner lost for words. It's just too literary for her, she excused. She let a playful wink play on her face, along with her lips parted in a clearly hammered position. She softened the awkward look by letting out a loud chuckle, and wrapped an arm around her drinking buddies shoulder.
"One more for the lady here! I feel she wishes us to be evenly matched!" Arie yelled playfully at the bartender, feeling the competition friendly and not the least bit hasty.

hollie let out a playful laugh. it was actually out of character for her; she had been trained from a young age to keep her laughs low and seductive, measured and calculated. but the sound that escaped her lips now was full of mirth and happiness. her dark waves that had been in perfect casual disarray were now properly disheveled, and her perfectly ironed mini dress was wrinkled and not at all form-fitting the way it had been when she exited delta zeta that evening. however, no matter how smashed she managed to get, her ability to walk in dangerously high heels never faltered.
so she took her shot in one hand, and the shot the bartender set in front of her in the other, tipped her head back and opened her throat, dumping the amber liquid straight down, one after the other. she shook her head minutely and squeezed her eyes tight shut against the burning sensation scalding her throat and chest. after setting down the empty containers, she stepped backward onto their own private dance floor, catching arie's hands and dragging her along.
"come on, lets get this alcohol into our blood streams!" she called to arie over the music, and danced around her peers until she was in the midst of the throng. her hands were mostly in the air since they didn't fit anywhere else. her vision was blurred, and the room seemed to be a haze of pitch black with your occasional neon color. something cold was thrust into her hand by a fellow dancer, she assumed, and hollie didn't question it; she took a large sip, and fought the urge to hurl it back up. from the taste of it, she was given straight jagger.

Arrabella-Fayne Alice Selwyn-Avery II [/blockquote] Drink it all away, numb it down to none, [/blockquote] Stay awake tonight and wait for the sun. [/blockquote] Arrabella watched in amusement as Hollie took the shot she had originally ordered, followed by the one Arie had insisted on buying for her. Hollies face was much more scrunched then Arrabellas had been, which lead Arie to the slight conclusion that Hollie hadn't been sipping on straight whiskey much that evening.
"come on, lets get this alcohol into our blood streams!"
Arrabella smiled an intoxicated smile, and was soon being drug out on to the private dance floor. Her conscience told her she didn't need to dance to get the alcohol into her blood stream, as she wasn't sure there was much else running through her veins. She looked at the small stranger who she had just become suddenly acquainted with. Something about this girl in the way she had behaved, brought Arrabella to a comfortable state. It was such an opposite effect compared to what she had felt the few times their eyes had met in the sorority. Always a bit distant, Arrie hadn't chosen to pay much attention to her, and instead watching out to make sure there bodies didn't have a run in. At a six inch height difference, that may have led to worse measures.
She looked down at the petite girl in front of her. The girl was holding a container filled of alcohol, She smiled and went away into dancing, raising her arms in the air. In the back of her mind, she knew just what more swig would do.

annabella was late; one thing her fellow co-president couldn't stand. with a frustrated sigh, the blonde crossed the busy street and made her way over to the seven deadly sins nightclub. the large, burly andromeda man by the door gave her a wide, unnecessary smile before opening the door and holding it for the youngest bletchley, not bothering to check her age. the flashing neon lights and the sound of the obnoxiously loud music met her ears the second she passed through the glass doors and into the club. anna smiled, but decided to locate her other party before making a stop at the bar to grab a drink of her own.
oddly enough, neither of the fraternities had anything planned for that weekend. under these extremely rare circumstances, hollie montague took it upon herself to round up a group and send them to the sins. for annabella, there were very few people even in her own sorority that she could stand being around. therefore, the mixers along with the nights out on the town usually weren't her ideal night. however, she didn't really have a choice, did she? there was only one requirement.
alcohol. fast.
though her fellow co-president and best friend, for lack of a more accurate word, was lacking hight, annabella easily spotted her brunette head bouncing across the floor with another girl she recognized as bella avery. she was fresh meat as far as annabella was concerned, but her surname excluded her from their usual new pledge procedure. smiling at the pair as she approached, annabella snagged the flask from bella's hand and brought it to her lips, tipping it back. "thanks, darling." she winked, resting an elbow on hollie's shoulder. the blonde smoothed out the side of her little black dress and handed the flask back to the taller of the two brunettes, a smirk tugging the corners of her lips.

Arrabella-Fayne Alice Selwyn-Avery II [/blockquote] Drink it all away, numb it down to none, [/blockquote] Stay awake tonight and wait for the sun. [/blockquote] Just as Hollie handed her the mysterious container, it was intercepted by a tall blond. She was too drunk to understand what had just happened and took it as if she were supposed to hand it to the girl. This girl, the blond one around her height was smiling at her now. She looked at her a little bit longer, studying her face.
She recognized her. Another girl from the sorority she confirmed, Hollie's co-president Annabella Bletchley. She smiled in remorse as the container cooled her hand and scolded her lips. The swig lasted longer then she had thought, and her mood became enlightened but darker. She had forgotten the previous transaction almost as quickly as it appeared.
She suddenly looked back up towards the blond, who was heading towards Hollie. Her motions seemed slow, but were happening relatively fast.
"Annabella!" She said with a spark of enjoyment, "Hollie will be so happy to see you've finally made it! Come, come!" She said as she stepped in front of the tall toe head, dragging her off to where her new friend Hollie had been dancing.

for as drunk as tiny hollie actually was, she was convinced that she was holding her alcohol extremely well. somewhere in the blur of spinning dancers she was able to latch onto arrabella's face, and then focus in on anna's close behind. this excited her, and her pleasure was amplified by her level of inebriation. "anna!" she squealed in happiness, though her eyes slid out of concentration and she began to swoon. no, this would not happen. she was in total control, she hadn't even fallen yet. she was overwhelmed with the urge to vomit all over everyone in the dance floor, however she couldn't bring herself to do it.
"i'm so glad you're here anna!" hollie nearly mumbled, no longer able to separate one dim light on the ceiling from another. at least she thought that's what the blurred brightness in front of her was. she felt herself floating through the air. no, no, she was falling. however, which direction she was tumbling in was she couldn't be sure. not that she had many options...the dance floor was considerably packed, so she merely slumped against a larger man in front of her and collapsed to the floor, muttering sporadically, unfeeling, unseeing. "where were you?" she asked the man's calf muscle. "i wanted to wait, anna."

The appearance of the tall, fierce looking Alpha drew looks immediately upon his entrance into the night club. His eyes traveled the extent of what could be seen, searching for any known faces, but turned back negative results. A frown branded itself upon his face, as he headed for an area more frequented by his friends, and others of his type: the stuck up, arrogant types.
Walking to the stairs leading up to the VIP lounge, Aiden was greeted by several people, including a couple of the clubs security, who nodded in a friendly manner. His return nod confirmed to anyone else in the club that he was in well with the employees of the club. Starting a fight would be out of the question, if they wanted to stick around the club tonight. Reaching the top of the stairs, Aiden was rewarded for his first guess. 'Lo and behold, there sat the two Delta girls that he had had to converse with so many times in the past: Annabella and Hollie.
It only took several steps in their direction to realize they already had a fair headstart on partying. A grin crossed his lips as he reached their sides and spoke in a friendly voice.
"Starting without me, then?"
He saddled up next to them at the bar, and Rick brought him a drink without need of being asked: a shot of Firewhisky mixed with a muggle drink called Jager and something called Redbull. He had tried the muggle version of the drink, but had found it far less appealing. The addition of Firewhisky perfected the formula, as was apparant on Aiden's face as he put the glass to his lips, draining it one slug.

clearly, someone had hit the drinks pretty hard. it was like this at every party, though, and annabella was hardly surprised. hollie was the one who got completely smashed and annabella was her devoted best friend that picked up the pieces. luckily for the brunette, her blonde counterpart had never been one for hardcore drinking, and could therefore babysit her the entire night, no matter where they were. placing hand on her hip and sending bella a soft chuckle, annabella bent down next to hollie and began to pull her up, shooting a glare at the man who had conveniently decided not to move his calf out of anna's way.
"asshole," she muttered, pulling hollie into a sitting position and chuckling. her plan was to get the girl to a vacant couch while keeping an eye on her. people like annabella, hollie, and now bella were the perfect target for old men and their foul intentions. aiden, also fashionably late, took a seat at the bar. annabella nodded at him as a greeting, still struggling to hoist her friend to her feet. "i don't expect you to wait, darling. but perhaps you should pace yourself next time?" anna commented to hollie, knowing her efforts were pointless.

Arrabella-Fayne Alice Selwyn-Avery II [/blockquote] Drink it all away, numb it down to none, [/blockquote] Stay awake tonight and wait for the sun. [/blockquote] Arrabella was in the giddiest of moods. She had just encountered two of the most glamorous girls in all of her already pristine sorority. Drinking with them, and being seen drinking with them was something Arie looked to as a privilege.
It was when Arrabella had began to look away, that she noticed Hollie had sunken to the bottom of the floor...and seemed to be mouthing slurred words towards a man's leg? Surely she had seen that wrong. Arrabella had shook her head in order to clear her vision, but the sight of the petite and highly intoxicated girl was still in front of her.
She was setting herself to go and help when Annabella stepped in front of her sight. It seemed she was pulling the incoherent girl to the safety of belt level, leaning her onto a couch. Her mouth was moving silently just as Hollies had, as if she were whispering to the girl who had sunken under.
The look on Hollies face was blank. Bella knew she was guilty of the final shot, the one that could have poisoned her new friend. A body that small clearly couldn't handle the degree of alcohol in which Arie's length could. Her mind went blank, and the next thing she knew she was looking towards Annabella, who seemed to have deprived herself from the inebriated, crouching girl next to her. That was when Bella spotted a new addition to the fresh trio.
Thankful that her new acquaintance was still seemingly sober, Arie began to look for an introduction.
"Anna, darling!" Arrabella nearly yelled over the loud music and began to walk toward the talking duo "Do you think she'll be alright? Should we maybe do something?"

Licking his lips of any remenants of his drink, Aiden stood, hardly having sat at the bar for more than several moments. It hadn't taken long to solve what had happened: Hollie had taken in a bit more than she could handle, and the mess was being handled. A small internal struggle took place within, battling wheather it would be more proper to keep drinking, or to go help the girls get their friend situated.
In the end, he decided on the assistance was quite necessary, and sauntered over, looking at the fine mess the 3 girls had gotten themselves into.
"You know, this is why we tell you girls not to do heavy drinking without us," Aiden said, with a small smile in Annabella's direction. Of the 3, he knew her and Hollie, but had never met the other girl. Before lifting Hollie up, he offered the the stranger a hand to get her into a stable, standing position.
"Name's Aiden," he said, though introductions were usually something he skipped. Being a co-president of Alpha carried a certain reputation with it, that usually gave Aiden the benefit of skipping such things. Once she was situated, he leaned down and wrapped an arm around Hollie, and spoke before lifting,
"Alright, Hollie. Here we go. So help me Merlin, if you throw up on me... Well, you owe me," he said, thinking of making a comment about his shoes, but deciding against it in the end. As Hollie half walked, but mostly allowed herself to be carried, across the floor to an open couch, Aiden supported her, allowing her to apply her weight against him. Finally reaching an empty couch, he laid her on it, slowly, making sure she was fully situated.
He looked back at Annabella and addressed her.
"How many drinks did she have, exactly?" He was only slightly concerned, as he could recall a few more incidents that were somewhat like this one occuring. Hollie was a sweetheart, but she had the horrible tendency of forgetting exactly how much she could handle.
